Viewership by Language
Flashpoint was created with a global focus from the beginning and had team representation from Europe, North America, South America and Asia. Games were broadcast in English, Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, and other languages.
Esports Charts data reveals that English speakers were 64.6% of the Flashpoint audience, with Portuguese also proving extremely popular with 29.5% thanks in large part to the popularity of Brazilian superstars, MIBR.
Flashpoint Match Viewership
MIBR drew the largest audiences throughout the tournament, averaging 92,000 concurrent viewers watching their matches. MAD Lions were next in line with an average of over 57,000 viewers for their games. At the tournament’s peak, over 282,000 tuned in to watch the Grand Finals match between juggernauts MIBR and MAD Lions. In the top five most-watched matches, MIBR was a part of four of them.
